This is part of the Goderich Auburn Rail Trail, which is a multi-use (bike, hike, horse, snowmobile, etc.) trail that runs along the former Canadian Pacific Railway line between Goderich and Auburn. [The original rail line ran to Guelph, but the portion to Auburn is the only part maintained as a trail.] I biked along the trail up from Lake Huron at Goderich until I got well into the farm fields part way to Auburn. This picture shows a portion of the trail around 5 km. or so from Goderich. The trail was fun to ride with good surfaces and an easy uphill grade for the first 5 km or so and flatter and a little less "manicured" after that - but still easily ridden on a 'regular' bicycle. For anyone in the area, it's well worth the trip to Goderich to ride the trail.
