Another from our Sarnia trip. The Bluewater Bridge actually consists of two spans - the original (on the right in this picture) built in 1938 and the newer one (on the left) built in 1997. The sign in front describes the voyage of the Griffon, the first ship to sail through the upper great lakes. I imagine that they had a much more difficult time going upstream through this river than did the boat in the background of this picture. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluewater_Bridge
